BACKGROUND:
Babcock HCS approached McCarthy & Associates to provide full office design, space planning and project management for
a move to a new office facility. The brief was to work closely with the client to develop a warm and inviting, yet modern,
office space.
McCarthy were also contracted to fit-out and furnish the entire 10,000 square foot office building.
SERVICES PROVIDED:
Standards for workstations (both Open plan and Directors) were developed in close consultation with the client. A veneer
finish was used to create a warm, modern aesthetic.
Full height, single-glazed partitioning was used in all office and boardroom areas to achieve the light, open feel the client
wanted.
The Boardroom and reception counter were designed to meet the client's specific needs. The boardroom incorporated a state
of the art audio visual system with a 50" plasma screen.
