Job Title: CAD Technician

Job Description: The CAD technician will be responsible to the
Design Office Manager for:-
Space planning/ drafting working
drawings for refurbishment projects
using ADT2004.

Carrying out building, furniture and
related on-site surveys.
-
Output of drawings, prints, colour
Boards, visuals and presentations.
-
Recording Back-up.
-
Recording drawing output.
-
Updating files / sample library.
-
Working to Company Operational procedures.
Skills / Experience Required :
At least 1 year in a similar CAD role preferred.
Detailed knowledge of the industry and evidence of relevant training and experience preferred including professional qualifications and membership of appropriate institutions if applicable.
Experience in the commercial design industry
plus effective organisational skills.
Experience of AutoCAD drawing / visualisation software.
Experience of Microsoft Office software essential, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Training Programme:
- All statutory training – (ie, ISO9001, BS7799, Health and Safety).
- Sales Admin and Accounts procedural training.
- Legislative awareness through seminars and workshops as and when required.
- Software training as and when required.
