Project: Refurbishment of the IT Dept Office.

BACKGROUND:
During the late part of 2004, the IT department within Wolverhampton and Dudley Breweries at the Wolverhampton head office, decided to refurbish an existing first floor office facility.
The objective was to create a more space effective open plan office, and a more functional, modern working environment for the IT team.
McCarthy and Associates were selected to provide a complete “Single source” interiors package.
SERVICES PROVIDED :
McCarthy & Associates provided the following range of services over two distinct phases :
Phase 1
Involved a feasibility exercise, the Existing Building space was fully surveyed, and a detailed cost proposal, and timing plan provided, with McCarthy Associates recommending project management services, based on an “Open book” partnership approach.
Phase 2
As part of the project, McCarthy Associates obtained building regulations approval using their “Lantac” partnership with Coventry City Council building regulations department. Detailed space planning to accommodate 31 staff, Interior Design proposals with Visualisations and proposals for the colour scheme.
PROJECT COMPLETION:
Once layouts and specification were agreed, the works programme began, this included a full Strip out and Refurbishment of the existing Office, including M&E services being upgraded, new ceiling, lighting, decoration, carpets, data cabling.
McCarthy and Associates provided for all of the furniture elements, including Wall to Ceiling storage wall, workstations, seating, and “Plug In” power and Data to each workstation, above work surface level.
