BACKGROUND:
Having outgrown their Edgbaston office in Birmingham, St Modwen made the decision to re-locate to a brand new building, taking a floor of 10,000sq feet, at their flagship Business Park development, Quinton Business Park, in Birmingham.
McCarthy and Associates Limited were selected to provide space planning, interior design, building regulations approval, provision of cellular partitioning and all furniture elements.
SERVICES PROVIDED :
McCarthy & Associates provided a complete “turnkey” package for this project, including the following :
Space planning, interior design, including visualisations for the reception area and boardroom - with colour boards provided for final sign off.
Cellular offices and meeting rooms were provided, using a veneer partitioning system, with integral blinds.
Provision and installation of all furniture elements, including open plan furniture workstations for 50+ staff, breakout furniture, seating, a “bespoke” reception counter was provided, incorporating curved translucent glass. A bespoke boardroom table to seat 16 was also provided.
Full floor to ceiling storage wall, was installed, with low level storage in the main open plan area.
Move management services were provided to relocate St Modwen staff to the new building.
