Background
Towards the end of 2006, Golly Slater's Birmingham office finalised a relocation plan from their Edgbaston office, to Fort Dunlop. After meeting a number of companies and assessing their capabilities, McCarthy Associates were selected to design, fit-out, and furnish the new office.Working very closely with Simon Gale at Golley Slater, McCarthy Associates provided space planning to accommodate the required number of staff at the new facility.
Services provided
McCarthy Associates provided full project management consultancy services, starting with a survey of the new office space at the Fort Dunlop building and liaising with Urban Splash, the landlord.
• Building regulation approvals were obtained prior to commencing works. • Space planning was provided to accommodate all staff in an open plan environment.
• A new reception counter, boardroom and meeting rooms were installed, all with new data/power cabling.
• A new server room and kitchen wered designed to be DDA compliant.

Consulted and advised Golley Slater on the selection of all furniture elements, including desking, task seating, screening and storage.Our move management team were used to re-locate all of the staff to the new office facility.
