Job Title: Sales Executive
Company and Location: McCarthy and Associates Ltd, Coventry, West Midlands
Job Description: The sales executive will be responsible to the Sales Directory for :
- Building the client base with new clients.
- Selling office furniture systems and promoting in a professional manner, the other services McCarthy & Associates provide

Responsible for working in accordance with the company Operational procedures.
Skills / Experience Required :
A minimum of 1 year in a sales role, preferable in a similar environment, but not essential.Knowledge of the industry preferred but again, not essential.
Effective organisational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be approachable.
Experience of Microsoft Office software essential, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
Training Programme:
- All statutory training – ie ISO9001, BS7799, health and safety.

Sales administration and Accounts procedural training.

Specific Sales procedural training.
-
Attendance at relevant seminars, workshops and events as and when required and relevant.
Role Integration:
The role of Sales Executive is important as it is one of the main points of contact for clients, either existing or new and first impressions of the company are often judged through this role.
It is important to have a smart, professional appearance with knowledge of the company and its products.
Liaison with other departments within the company will be required.
Emphasis is on the continual improvement of the department, together with a positive and helpful attitude to both staff and customers alike.
