The Innovation Building at Evolution Park Blackburn developed by St Modwen provides 30,000sq ft of Fully Furnished office space on flexible terms. The centre provides a full range of workspace products and services designed to support the business needs of Companies both established and start-up, within the Medical, Knowledge, Science and Technology Sectors.

McCarthy Associates worked closely with Dawn Rogers the centre Manager to Design and Space plan the 30,000 Sq Ft Office Facility, providing flexible office space, Meeting/Training Rooms, Break Out areas, Bistro/Kitchen facilities, Video Conferencing. McCarthy Associates provided all furniture elements, Office refurbishment, and provision of floor boxes. McCarthy Associates then provided specific Office Space planning to accommodate a St Modwen client who took 300 Workstation positions across 2 floors. The furniture specification provided for Innovative hot desking, with plug in power/data desk top modules, and portable filing boxes to allow multi workstation users. A “bespoke” mobile filing solution was planned and provided to accommodate 35,000 files, and allow rapid file retrieval.
