McCarthys garners BCO recognition for multi-million pound retail-to-office refurb
A fit-out project delivered by McCarthys has been recognised by the British Council for Offices (BCO).
The 44,000 sq ft Cat B fit-out was shortlisted as a finalist in the Fit Out category at the BCO Midlands and Central England Awards.
Completed in July 2024, the former House of Fraser store was converted into a cutting-edge workplace with meeting, breakout and studio space, and a large communal area for video game developer, Sumo Digital.
At an awards ceremony held on Friday 9 May, this and other projects deemed the best in workplace design and innovation across the Midlands, were celebrated.
